What you'll learn
You'll know what safeguarding really is
What it means, who it protects, and why it belongs to everyone, not only the specialists.
You'll understand consent properly
What it takes for consent to be freely given and informed, and why a person's capacity to give it is central.
You'll recognise concerns and act on them
The signs that someone may be at risk, and exactly how to respond, record and report safely.
Together we are more.
You are never expected to handle a concern on your own. Knowing the first step is what gives you the confidence to take it. Start here, and the rest follows.
About Train Together Academy
Train Together Academy makes learning practical and human, with skills you can rely on in a real moment rather than theory you file away and forget. This one is about being ready to do the right thing when it counts. The Academy is organised into three learning gardens. This course sits in Social & Global Citizenship, the part of growth that looks outward, to your duty of care and your responsibility to the people around you. It is one of the Academy's foundational courses, written for every new learner and for anyone who works or volunteers around others, especially those who may be vulnerable. It sits beside longer programmes, live sessions and a community of other learners to grow alongside. Learn with purpose. Apply it in practice. Keep moving forward.
